Product Information
A compact, robust tabletop digitiser delivering consistent, high-resolution diagnostic imaging,
specifically engineered to maintain electrical stability and operational efficiency in demanding
clinical environments.
Product Overview
The Agfa CR 10-X is a single-cassette computed radiography digitiser built to facilitate a highly
efficient transition from analogue to digital diagnostic workflows. Sourced directly from our
European logistics hub in Germany and Switzerland, this system is verified to be in premium
working condition, ensuring absolute authenticity and long-term mechanical reliability.
Designed for rural hospitals, private practices, and lower-volume operations, this unit processes
up to 44 imaging plates per hour. It scans at a high spatial resolution of 10 pixels/mm (100 µm
pixel pitch), guaranteeing diagnostic clarity without compromise. The hardware utilises a
horizontal cassette insertion mechanism, deliberately engineered to prevent the ingress of
ambient dust and dirt during normal operation. Furthermore, its modular, component-based
construction and ‘one screwdriver’ maintenance concept significantly reduce service downtime
and lifecycle costs. Weighing 29 kg, the unit is highly portable and structurally suited for both
stationary clinic deployment and mobile screening applications.

Clinical Applications
Nigerian diagnostic centres, orthopaedic clinics, and rural hospitals frequently struggle with the
slow processing times and recurring consumable costs associated with analogue radiography.
Furthermore, inconsistent grid power and heavy patient loads can bottleneck workflows at the
imaging station, increasing wait times and compromising clinical decision-making. Complex
scanner calibration and the need for specialised radiographer training to correct exposure errors
place additional strain on operational budgets.
The Agfa CR 10-X resolves these workflow bottlenecks directly. With its broad application
suitability across general radiography, orthopaedics, chiropractic, and full-leg/full-spine studies, it ensures rapid patient turnaround. The system functions seamlessly with Agfa’s gold-standard
MUSICA image processing software and the NX workstation. MUSICA automatically analyses
the characteristics of each image and optimises processing parameters independently of body
part and dose deviations. This automation eliminates the necessity for manual post-processing
and specialised operational training, minimising image retakes and accelerating the diagnostic
process. Additionally, the digitiser features a low-power LED erasure unit and an autoranging
power supply, providing vital resilience against local electrical fluctuations.
